The Good News Factory is a Social Upliftment company (Section 18 A) established in 2012. It focuses mainly on youth development and support to the educational sector. Our slogan is: “Stories of hope for a new generation.” (With the understanding that lives changed, and communities transformed by our projects and outreaches become the stories that bring hope to others). We currently operate on a national level with expansion to continental level in the near future with onsite training, workshops, mentoring and community projects.

Good News Factory has placed a team of volunteers working in preschools and ECD centers in and around Soshanguve.
Since the start of the program in 2022 they have impacted more than 500 learners on a weekly basis in 5 different ECD centers and Primary Schools.
The skills taught in Crèches, and after-school centers include:
Basic foundations of math like number forming, measurements, counting, adding and subtraction, and introduction to geometric shapes.
The children also learn visual construction, teamwork, color differentiation, interactive storytelling, visual memory, and more with the Duo Blocks program.
Physical education and sports development also get a lot of attention with the Ph.D. program specifically developed the help children get exercise together with social interaction and formation of sporting skills. All of this with basic equipment and recycled materials from the local village.
They also learn about everyday life issues like road safety, moral behavior and anti- bullying.
With the right funding, we are hoping to involve many more volunteers and reach many more centers and launch several new projects in townships in and around Gauteng.
The Good News Factory helps 30,000 to 50,000 learners every year to solve the bully problem and live in peace and harmony. Interactive workshops and training sessions are held in primary schools with separate sessions for the junior and senior phases. Children learn about forgiveness, discipline, good self-image, and inclusive behavior. Many times these sessions would end in a practical demonstration of peacemaking. Learners are challenged to live in peace and harmony with fellow students, teachers and family members.
What an absolute privilege to be able to teach and guide the next generation of leaders. Good news factory does this in a very practical way by providing teaching materials and outcomes-based training for leaders to practice their newfound skills in a practical way.
Good News Factory prides itself on the quality-of-life change seen in young lives after each youth camp. Every camp program is tailor made for its audience’s developmental phase and needs. It is well balanced between content, adventure, socialization, arts& crafts, and emotional development. We teach practical life skills and make use of experiential learning and reflecting skills to maximize each session. We are looking forward to expanding our leadership camps and developing camps to
recycle bullies and children with disciplinary problems and send them back to society as community builders and influencers.

The Bottle-Globe is a solution to overcome the lighting of shack dwellings by day, by means of free solar lighting. The Bottle-Globe can replace dangerous and costly paraffin lamps and candles.
In 2021 good news factory partnered with samaritans feet to distribute approximately 100 pairs of school shoes to lace fortunate children this project will be repeated on a regular basis in order to give help and support in areas in communities where it is most needed.

Since 2021, Good News Factory and Raf Buddy, a road safety awareness group, have been saving lives through live presentations and talks at primary and pre-schools, to make learners aware of road safety and road hazards.

We provide counselling from children to adults. Our team are ready to receive and treat you with love when you need it the most.
We are giving parenting workshops where experienced parents and psychologists provide you with the necessary information to adapt your parenting to modern problems of society.
